Six years ago when my daughter was born I sold my vette to my dad. Since I got divorced 2 years I have been scraping to gether the money to buy it back. Last night I finally transfered the title of my vette and got tags, so I am finally a vette owner again :yesnod: However I called zip and ordered the last 2 parts I need before I can drive it, and the one is backordered and they don't expect it in for 2-3 weeks :cry
Well, I think the good news far out weighs the bad... HEY>>>YOU GOT A VETTE!!!! Did you try ordering the part from another vendor... lots of em out there :yesnod: I went through the same thing after my divorce.... first a Harley... then a Formula Bird.. saving the best for last, I got a Vette.
AHHHH... ain't life GOOD!! :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:
I need a powersteering controlvalve and an ECM. I checked the other corvette dealers and ZIP prices were the best and the actually had both, though both are back ordered. I checked locally too and it's far cheaper to mail order them, I just have to wait for them.
I have been fooling with the control valve for a while now. I got a kit and tried to rebuild it myself, but since I cleaned it and put new seals in it leaks even worse than it did  I decided to just buy a rebuilt one with a warrenty.
