There is a Napa Auto Parts shop in my town that custom makes A/C hoses and Power Steering hoses you might check the area around you.
That should help a lot.
I have heard about needing a fuel pump in the tank also.
I know I've seen on here where someone has done it.
They added a tank return line to an in tank setup.
I'm interested in this swap.
Add some photos and people will come out of the wood work to help you out.
Not sure which is easier and/or better. Maybe someone that has dropped a LS1 or other newwer motor in will give their experiance.
It doesn't matter if the pump is internal or external. Pressure is key however so do your research and find out the minimum pressure required of a pump on an LT1 system. Also, if you get an external pump to mount in the back near the tank make sure it is a pusher style pump.
