Default Compressor brackets

79 coupe

I am missing some brackets to mount my short a/c compressor. I have the lower bracket but I need to know what other brackets I need to mount it. These were all missing when I got the car 7 years ago.

Pictures would be great.

Thanks

An Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM) will show not only the brackets you require, but tell you where to bolt them as well. It possibly should have been the first "part" purchased after you bought the car... it definitely should be the next. Any major vendor at the left of this page can supply one. My 77 set up is probably different or I'd be happy to supply pics for this issue.

Yes.
That big cast bracket is the main mount under the compressor.
The flat one is the adjustment bracket that goes behind the compressor.
The two others are support struts. One goes from an intake manifold bolt to the top of the adjustment bracket, the other goes from near the fuel pump to the bottom of the main mount bracket.

edit.....good pics here....

If you are trying to restore your car, you will need these brackets to install an R4 compressor. If you are trying to get your AC to operate again, consider replacing the compressor with a Sanden 508. The 508 draws less power and is FAR more reliable. Alan Grove, Vintage air and others have the necessary mounting brackets. Do a search of the Forum.
