Default Where are corvette's bonded together?

I am in the process of stripping my car down and I have come across something funky going on at the front fender. This is the only one that I have come to so I don't know what to expect just yet. It looks like the lower part of the fender is bonded to the upper part but then the bonding was covered with regular bondo, I have already come across other spots that were repaired with Bondo. There were some repairs in the hood that looked like this too(those got ground out). The whole thing looks pretty shoddy, but I am not sure what to do with it yet. I will try to get a pic and see what you guys think of this. Is it a regular bonding location or what. I seem to remeber the guy I bought it from said that it had been hit long, long ago.

All 4 fenders have bonding strips. You will probally want to use Evercoat Corvette Panel Adhesive. It's like bondo but work very well on the fiberglass panels.

Yeah, I have now stripped the other side down now and I see that there is defenitely supposed to be something there. I just thought that it might have been some Bubba repair because I have found so many other bubba repairs on the car. I will go over it with the Vette panel adhesive when I am too that point. Thanks for the help.
