76 Horns...What note??

76 Horns...What note??
I think that there are two horns up front on my 76, none are working, I was wondering which note or notes to replace with, or does'nt it matter?

My '75 came with two horns (one is a dealer installed option). I read in one of the manuals that when you have dual horns they should be different "notes". I know that the dealer installed one is a "D", not sure what the other is because I can't get a good look at the lettering.

Did they just quit or did one go then the other?
I thought mine were toast but it ended up being the contacts in the steering wheel button. Popped it off and cleaned them up and that was that.
Try a voltage meter to see if your getting current to the horns or try run a jumper wire to each horn just to verify that they are gone.

Horns now work, I found that the receptacle on horn number one was not making contact, alittle cleaning and all is well. :eek:
