Honestly, if that's the price, it's very good. I would want to make sure the rebuild is strong enough for your engine. A good 700R4 from Bowtie Overdrives, the tranny alone, is close to $900. Their up level tranny is over a grand. And that's before you add all the other stuff, the driveshaft, the crossmember, the cables, etc.
It sounds like a bargain to me. Maybe too good to be true. Definitely talk to the guy whose car he already did.
Also, what about the 200R4? That one bolts in a lot easier. There was a thread about this yesterday.

I believe it is 200-4R :) And it is a direct replacement to the TH350 in terms of size. Same crossmember and driveshaft. Has a lower 1st gear, not as low as a 700R4, but lower than a TH350 and a OD of .67, which is greater than the .70 in a 700R4.
