Hood cowl seal
Need some pics of the seal at the back of the hood, i have never had anything and would like try to control the heat there.

It goes just above the hood release cable on the squared off area and follows down each side about a foot. Clean the area and new weather stripping well and attach with weather strip adhesive following the directions. You will be amazed at the temp difference in the cabin.

Do you have the assembly instruction manual (AIM)? It shows the weatherstripping.

Looks good to me. I couldn't find it in a '75 AIM.

Thanks for the pictures and info, couldn't locate my aim, i see now how it goes down on the sides. Will order a weatherstrip soon.
On a related matter does the under hood insulation help with the noise?
