Temperature gauge doesnt move when grounded
Help -
Does the car have to be cranked and running or just in acces. mode?
This was tested in acces mode - I have pulled the wire off my temp. sending unit and touched to the frame or any metal surface and the gauge does not move - stays pegged below 100 degrees. No teflon tape on unit and have spliced new wire into the original green wire.
I have a new lectric limited unit and new lead to install but it seems the current set it is not grounded.
Help - what should I do or try next. My engineering terms and knowledge are very limited
