Gen light coming on!
The past three times I've fired up the vette cold, the gen light will come on and stay on for about a minute then go off. While at the same time my alternator gauage is always way up in the positive like it normally always is.
I have a brand new die hard battery in it and it tested good, as well as the alternator tested good.
So I think it may be a bad sensor? But now I don't know where it is to replace it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Gen Light used to come on in my 78 pacecar and stay lit for a minute or so before going out. The voltmeter would drop to just under 12 when lit. Had the alternator replaced and have not seen the gen light again.
