Default Wheel stuck, rotor removed

Been searching for awhile and believe I'm just an idiot. Right rear wheel is locked on the 68 when I got it out of storage. All 4 rotors have been removed. The other 3 wheels move freely including the driver rear and half-shaft. Nothing doing on the right rear. Am I looking at a frozen, bad bearing? I haven't removed the right half-shaft but thats next. The rotor was a PITA to get off so figured it was parking brake related. With no rotor though, shouldn't the hub move like the drivers side does? Better figure out what's wrong before I put new brakes on. Thoughts?

I can't think of anything else that would cause the hub to be seized except the bearing. I think you're looking a a bearing rebuild.

Once you disconnect the half-shaft from that wheel you will be able to determine if it is the wheel or if something is wrong in the differential. Probably the wheel bearing is seized.

If you watch the half shaft and diff yoke closely while your trying to turn the spindle you should be able to tell if the lock is at the spindle bearing or in the diff.
If its in the diff you will see some movement between the diff and spindle.
If its the diff the trailing arm will try to lift.

edit-What did the car body do when you discovered something was locked up ?
If the rear end of the car went up and down drastically as you went from forward to reverse its probably the spindle bearing.

And from what I've seen, a rear bearing rebuild or replacement is not fun huh? I take there is no good way to unseize a bearing?

Not fun if you have never one and don't have the special tools to do it.
Did you notice it behaving badly before you stored it ?
If you seized it due to lack of grease I doubt you'll get it to break loose.

It was stored for years while the motor was rebuilt and other projects worked on. No problems before though. I'll mess around with it a bit more and hope I can get it broke loose

Researching a bit more, would the culprit more likely be the spindle and enclosed bearings? The random replacement procedures i found for a spindle component replacement seems within my reach of capabilities. I don't want to tackle a T/A assembly if I can help it.

The rear spindle bearing requires precise measurements or you can run the risk of doing damage. Without the proper tools you may not set it up properly.

Read a lot about it. If you don't believe that you can do it, get someone who can.
