I got THIS ONE from Skip White a few months ago and love it. The reason I got it from him was because it came with a lifetime warranty, and because I've purchased parts from him before and was very satisfied. The starter is basically the same one that everyone else sells (the bottom one in your links), but he had a good price and the lifetime warranty that no one else did.
The secone one has the "R" terminal on the solenoid while the first does not. You will want the second one if you have the older style points style distributor.

Thanks Ben,
You are first to answer the question. My 81 does has HEI so I can install either one. So is the first one easier to line up since the starter bendix gear is not covered by the housing. Or is it a mute point because they bolt up without any issue. Bottom line for me is that SkipWhite sells both for the same price and I'm trying to figure out which one I should order.
