6 months ago I replaced my NSS.
I found out that the major resalers here all sell the same switch so where I purchased it really doesn't really make a difference.
And there seems to be no warranty.
A week or so ago the 75 would not start.
I ended up pulling the console to check the NSS and sure enough
when I tried to start it the switch started smoking.
I'm looking for a higher quality switch.
One that does not have the reverse wires wrong from the factory.
Does anyone have any ideas where I can purchase a little better switch?
you could always bubba it, and add in a NSS Relay.
this would have min. current draw on the cheap switches.
(enabling them to last much longer)
then the relay would switch the heavy current for the starter.
Bonus points: this relay could be tied to a Hidden Kill switch for anti-Theft also.
Depends on how often you have to pass some silly inspection or other, ME here in Florida, I would jumper it out by splicing the wires together, and if anyone so stupid as to hit the starter in gear, wellllllll

I like this idea a lot.
Relay could be setup in a plug so it could be changed easily.
The NSS I have now may be good enough to operate the coil on the relay.
Any idea how many amps the relay would have to be?
