Default 73 cowl hood

my friend has a 73, and the wire for the cowl induction that runs along the side of the hood on the drivers side is not connected, where does it hook into, it has a 2 prong connection, thanks

just in front of the radiator should be the connector that it plugs into. From there it travels through the firewall and to a switch behind the gas pedal.

My 73' does not have the cowl induction mechanism under the hood opening. The car has kept factory except for this and the removal of the AIR pump. I have tossed around the idea of buying one of the induction mechanisms just to get it back to how it looked then. Does anyone know how much trouble this would be and price? What remnants of the system would I need to look for to know what I would need to buy?

Thanks,
BG

If you have the AIM you could compare it to what is on your car then you would know the complete answer.
