79 with interesting exhaust
Here is the 79 that I purchased recently.

The exhaust is straight pipes, no muffler, with a cross pipe between the main pipes.
Any comments or suggestions for improvements?

The ram's horns exhaust manifolds are still on, but I am thinking about putting on some straight down shorty headers.
Without mufflers, will I be able to hear myself think in there?

it looks like 4 glass pack mufflers on the end.its better than the factory system. without the tire carrier you could get rid of that bottle neck. side pipes are good too

I don't believe shorty headers will give any better performance than ramhorns. As for mufflers, looks to me you have twin glass packs.
