Any info you can give me on this install would be greatly appreciated.
Just a normal tall jack. I inserted it header first from the bottom and wound my way up. I have JCL Spiral Turbo Baffles and they have downward facing tabs on them to put a bolt through. You bolt through the bottom/back of the sidepipe.

I didn't need to do any fastening of my max flows. Just slipped them in the side tubes and installed onto the headers. No rattles just the awesome (loud) rumble.

mrbeaubo where are you with the install? I'm thinking strongly about getting these within the month. How do you like the sound and the clearance? How is the heat in the car? Are the headers close to the starter or does it cause any starter problems? And please list everything you needed and where you got them. I saw two types of baffles (2" & 2 1/2" sweet thounder) which did you get? Can I get the Baffles, hanging kit and bolts from Summit? One last question, Are there any heat shields for these pipes? At the end of the day I don't want the wife to get burned, then I will be in the dog house after this purchase.

I will try to answer as best as I can. I don't have her fired up yet, but I'm hoping this week.

I didn't have any clearance issues with the starter, but I have a PowerMaster mini high torque starter.

The only thing I had to buy was the Hooker Headers mounting kit for like $35.00 from Summit. I can't seem the part now, but it is what is needed to mount to the actual car. The baffles I used are the JCL Spiral Turbo Baffles. Summit doesn't sell them, but you can usually find a used pair or buy directly from JCL/Spiral Turbo Baffles. Any heat shield will work on these that would work on normal sidepipes to my understanding. I know one of the manufacturer's make cool designs on them, but they are expensive. I have not bought heat shields yet.

Also, I used gaskets for an LT1 head from Percy's believe it or not. You will have to find a gasket that works for your application.
