Vacuum question for 76 C3
Almost there! Getting ready for first time start up after two years of rebuilding this car front nose to rear..
I removed the entire AC system due to the the previous owner removing most everything anyway. Installed an AC delete cover and painted to match the engine bay which looks good. I have a question on two vacuum hoses that penetrate the passenger side firewall.
According to the assembly manual here are the two hoses;
1) To Vacuum source (black hose, no stripe)
2) OA Valve (this has a green stripe on the hose and a grommet on the end)
I traced them back to the console controller and not sure if I should plug them or provide the vacuum. I don't think the OA Valve is operational any longer w/o AC - correct me if I'm wrong. Not sure what the other vacuum line is for. Thoughts?
