Flip front & custom grill LOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remembered I had a mag with a totally stunning car in in it (it's a 75 but converted to 69 looks)
The car is built by a german guy (those germans have damn nice cars, I'm sure a lot of you remeber the cars I posted from ACP-Euskirchen like the one w/ the C4 dana 44 rear, the coil overs , the brembo's , the blue 82 w/ LS1 and so on and so on GroovyJay posted some too, including the red one from the owner)
Here's another piece of German engineering. The flip front is custom made w/ BMW hood hinge parts. The front grille is obviously custom too and is somewhat similar to the one someone here is building (a white car, don't know who it was)
I don't like the round lights behind it but w/ the lights off it looks great IMO. The engine subframe & the parts for the flip front must be one of the best installs I've ever seen. I thought I had to share this with you all.
And again.. Weber IDA's :) We europeans just love weber stuff ;)
Maybe one of the German guys here knows the owner? The mag says it's owned & built by Jürgen Jahn
I don't know where he lives but the engine was done by Bühler in Weinstadt, some other stuff by Frank Riedel (Frankie's Garage.. where is he at???), the ragtop was done by Stefan Jörg in Winterbach. Are those towns in the same area? if so the guy probably lives in the vicinity.
I have more pics of the ragtop, the rear and some other stuff.. all totally amazing. If you guys want to see it I'll scan & post them...enjoy!
