A6 auto in a C3
Has anyone tried to install a 6 speed automatic from a C6 into a C3? I have Muncie M21 with gear vendors over drive but I find the shifter to be a bit clumsy and too long of a throw. The 6 speed auto has a numerically high 1st gear ratio that I think would be fun on the streat.

Not gonna happen,the C5 and C6 have rear mounted transaxles.You will need a 6L80E out of a 2WD pickup or van,will not fit in a C3 without major tunnel surgery and a very expensive transmission controller.Can it be done?Absolutely,but most people have better ways to spend $5K or 6K large...
