Anyone running the weld RTS wheels?

I was thinking bout getting some and I see they have diff pad heights for fitting brakes.

"The medium pad fits the high performance factory brake systems first seen in 1965 on Corvettes and on other performance cars from the late 1980's onward, along with many aftermarket brake systems"

I'm a 15" rim guy so it'd be some 15x8's

I don't have them on my car but had to see what they were. Good looking wheel.

Well I pulled the trigger on a set of weld rts back in March. Got em bout 5 weeks later and just mounted them last week. Now I'm not sure if I like them.

I just threw two on and the front dirrectional is backwards and I didn't want to mess with the center caps incase something happene to them. I only did those two because the other two have really bad runout and I have to take them back to the place I ordered them from so they can check them before I wait another 5 weeks or so.

The last two pics show how the rear sticks out tad more than the old ones. Old wheels have .25" more backspace and the new tries are about .5" wider.

I took the wheels to be checked today and 3 where bad, 2 pretty bad and the whole tire would wobble. I got my $ back! I choose a wider front tire 15x7, because I didn't want dented up wobbly skinnys on the Michigan streets. The two front where the worste! We discussed options and the place is 1.5hrs away and they didn't want to exchange more than one time, so if the replacement was bad I would be screwed. I guess if I ever deal with weld again it'll be direct or thru a larger company that won't mind sending me a few to get it right.

FYI they didn't even measure the wheels, we could clearly see the wobble.

Well I got the four stickers still, so mount n blance lose, that's $15 a sticker!
