Coolant flush in 69 big block

Coolant flush in 69 big block
Looking for directions in flushing the coolant system in a 69 big block. There is no drain **** in the bottom of the radiator. Should I just pull the hose at the bottom of the radiator to drain and then drain the expansion tank which connects to the water pump? Is the best way to refill through the upper hose that connects to the thermostat? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks

I used Peak brand cooling system flush. I followed their instructions.
It would be advantageous to remove the water jacket pipe plugs at the center of the outboard engine block just above each oil pan rail. Casting debris turns to rust and lays in that area.
