on to my next mission. to fix the intermittent wipers and pump, the wipers work on low and high. when i move the switch to intermittent i can hear the control relay click at all 3 settings, but intermittent just work like on low, kinda more choppy, but work. and the washer pump is not doing anything, i see its full of fluid, so i am assuming it worked at some point. any thoughts or ideas, or the first thing to troubleshooot?

I have no idea if your issue is switch related or the PCB board where the relay is behind the passenger seat. But I do seem to recall that there is a company that is now making a replacement for the relay and the switch. Here it is, I found it:
thats always a great start , i am going to meter the lines going into the pump first and see if i have power going to the pump, then i thought i would try and pull the switch and make sure the connections are good before i shell out the money for a new board. but i think the switch is going to be tricky to remove

The pump itself is available from Napa. I had to replace mine as the boittom part had snapped off for some unknown reason.
Not much help but at least you have a source fpor parts....
lectric make the module but not the switch. The switch is very hard to find unless you get one from a salvage/breaking car.
JFYI, I sold a NOS pulse switch just recently for $300. You would have thought someone somewhere would realise, although small, there is a market for this item.

Yes, you are correct, my bad. The relay used to be a pain to find as well. If you are handy with cash, nothing is out of your grasp with a Corvette....
i wish i could a NOS rear defrost switch at a decent price, mine works but the LED is burned out, and cant really justify buying a new one for $100 plus just for the light

The washer pump is really cheap to replace. I was shocked to discover that Summit has direct replacement for only $15.00.
This is for an 81. It's a minor pain to replace because you have to take off the tank and get inside to unscrew the filter, which also holds the washer in place. You have to reuse the filter.
To do it correctly, you will need a pivot head thru socket wrench since you have to go through the filler hole, and the filter is quite tall.
I was able to snake a long handled open end wrench in there and get enough bite on the plastic filter nut to get it off and on.

Been there, done that too. I found the pump at the local NAPA.
we just finished developing a 11" flex head 1/4 drive wrench, and i do all the product testing and quality control so i think that would work perfect to get into the Reservoir, i will find out
i tested power to the pump and i have 10-11V at the connection, and when i ran 12V directly to the pump i can see it spark a little and click but its not doing anything, so i am guessing its the pump itself. so, i dont think my flex 1/4 drive is going to work to get the pump out, and i cant see any way to get the tank out, any suggestions?
