Radiator cap pressure
What is the proper radiator cap pressure for a 77 L48......no mods?
I have a 16 lb cap on, but the hoses are all hard as rocks with engine running.
180 degree stat with holes drilled......
there is a mixing of fluid from the radiator as the overflow tank does get hot.
engine runs at about 220 degrees with air conditioner running at highway speed(65-80).
Thanks for input in advance

Radiator flushed.........
I'm concerned about excessive(?) pressure.
Should hoses be hard?

Yes, that's the whole point of a pressurized system.

Thanks, just making sure.......
I went over the whole system and replaced items as needed..
I never had a pressure build up before and never had an overheating
situation........
