Only getting one speed on wipers?
When I got the car it came with an arm that kept on falling out and the tip was broken, but I had 2 speeds with it. The arm disappeared.
I bought a new arm and I only get one speed now.
Any help here on this?

I don't think wiper speed has any direct connection with wiper arms. Check the connections on the wiper switch. For 77, aren't the wipers on a stalk on the steering column?
Was the old "arm" with a broken tip you reference the actual stalk on the column?

My broke bar had one set of ears, the one now has 2.

The new one has 2 sets.
the old one works with 2 speeds but the new one sets in deeper but only one speed.
