How much into it???

$4900 purchase
$600 frame
$1500 suspension
$1100 paint
$2500 engine (est.)
$1000 misc
So that makes it $11600. Break even? I doubt it. But I've learned a hell of a lot from this car. And I really like it. Besides, there is no car around that could have given me the experience I've gained from this car, for $11600.
This was my masters degree.

Car: $16,000 (much too much), 2 engines: $6,000, interior $1,000, Misc: $2,000 and forgot: $1,000.
I am finally getting to enjoy it like I had imagined. I have drove it more in the last 2 months then I had the previous 3 years I owned it.
I think it's the little things like gaskets, lubes, sealers, hoses and things like that really sneak up on you, plus the tools.
Thanks, now I am thinking I need to scale back. YA RIGHT!
