Anyone Assemble A Headlight Switch Assembly Before
I have a supposedly bad headlight switch (the electrical system of the switch is fine, the problem was vacuum related- the headlights would come on but wouldn't pop up...) I can bypass the switch by hooking the line up to the engines vacuum port and they pop up fine- so the switch wasn't working properly.
I just got it out of the dash, but it didn't come out in a single piece like I hoped. I'd like to see a pic or a few pics of the assembly of the switch, or some kind of diagram that shows all the parts and how they go together... I don't need to be told to "just go buy a new switch" I'm scraping by to pay for gas and insurance at this point, and have lots of other expenses to take care of... Like a new wiper motor, tires, my home expenses/bills... You guys get the picture.
I'm good at bench-top fixes, and hope to get this fixed without having to save up to buy a new one...
Any help would be awesome-
