Really frustrated with installing my same idler arm back onto the frame. I removed it from the steering arm to make things easier.
My problem now is that I can only put one bolt in (out of 2) at a time but then I can't put the 2nd one in. The flat of the idler arm won't line up with both bolt holes at the same time. This is because the top of the idler is hitting the frame before I can line up both holes at the same time.. This should be easy ...because this same idler arm was mounted before

You are trying to bolt it up with the tapered stud on the outside of the frame? It all lies between the frame rails. Point the tapered stud end toward the front of the car on the inside of the frame. mike...
