1st it's a 77 five speed w/400 + HP w/cheaters she has been drive pretty hard a few 1/4 mile runs as well as street beatings have had no prob for aprox 2000 miles of use I have been trying to do some home work on replacement parts and was looking for the best Eco fix w/breaking the bank !!!!!!!! This is where you might as well cheek up. Go for the Tom's axles. Don't get the *HD* replacement stuff that's sold sometimes....get the good outers.
I've broken quite a few of them over the years...and quite a few buddies are in the same boat. The Tom's will work and you won't have to worry about them.
Can u buy just the spindle and have those installed in my trailing arms ? If so do we to replace the yokes also ??? Additional parts needed other than the bearings & seals ??? How about the rear it self is that going to hold up ??????? Opinion 's please ??? Thanks very much to all that assisted !
