Default 78 Vette heater ducts. HELP

I am in the process of switching my 78 from A/C to non-A/C. I have done some research, but I have some questions. I know the inner and outer heater boxes are different , but the rest of the ducting puzzles me. In my A/C version, there is duction for vents on the ends of the dash, next to the doors, and there are also vents above the center console. You also have the floor and defrost vents. As I have gone over the non A/C info and drawings I have, it does not sppear there are side vents and over the console vents. Is that true? Are ther ONLY floor vents, and the defrost for a heater only set-up? I find that hard to believe, but I am at a loss right now. And if those are the onbly vents, what the heck do I do with the old vents that were there for the A/C system? Did Chevy just not cut out the wholes for the other ones, or what? HELP, I am CONFUSED.

Vents in console and lower dash are for A/C and vent only. You could possibly tie in to these but wouldn't be anymore efficent.

On my car (no A/C) the side vents in the dash are ducted to the fresh air intakes near the foot vents. They have little valves that are hand operated to turn the flow on or off. The center vent is missing, there is a blockoff plate that says "corvette" that covers the holes. If you need pictures, let me know.

Also, let me know when you have the parts off. You have my e-mail address.
