Default Thanks to all for the help!

Just wanted to thank everyone for all of the help on my 467 engine build up. I know that the answers I get from my fellow forum brothers and sisters are right on the mark. I have had the car out several times and I just can't believe the performance from the big block!! My old 350 ran good, but words can't describe the feeling of big cubes! I would also say the Crane 296 cam is just right, no lack of pull down low and when it gets past 3500rpm watch out!!! Also at a stoplight it sounds like a top fuel car waiting for the tree to go green. Keep on motoring and save the wave! 467-Ratman.

Glad to hear it's running great! I am not sure if you know this, but it is a custom, here on the forum, to take everyone for a ride after an engine rebuild or swap.:D Next friday, my schedule is clear!

Default Re: Thanks to all for the help! (1970 Stingray)

One thing to know for sure is that the Merlin heads are great for racing but they are a pain in the @#$! All of the brackets had to be adjusted to work, with the raised port style it makes it difficult. I would glady give anyone a ride, just let me put a $50 bill on the visor and see if you can grab it when I hit the gas!!!
