Rear coil over, new idea.

I saw this at Carlisle, it's a bad pic but you get the idea. It's mounted to the diff crossmember. What do you guys think? He's selling the setup for $1000.

He used a hole saw and cut access holes in the crossmember, ran a bolt through the crossmember to mount the coil over.

theres a couple of really nice diy coil over setups on here that were done foe less than 4-5 hundred.

seems to be hanging kinda low. a flat tire would result in dragging it on the ground.

The angle of the shock makes a big differrence on how it works. With a rear tire only doing verticle travel the correct shock placement is also near verticle

It does look like there might be some side load on that trailing arm doesn't it?
