I got brakes. Yippeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!
To everybody that helped, thanks a million...
No, I can't actually give you a million dollars, but thanks anyway. After replacing the master cylinder, the brakes still didn't work. A few of you explained bench bleeding the cylinder, and all I had done was the lines themselves, and now they work like a charm. Thanks a lot.
Car runs great. Not bad for $5500 plus alternator(79.99), battery(39.99), master cylinder(17.99). Now all I gotta do is get my windows and radio to work. I bought a new one anyway, and I think the radio might actually be shorting something out. I halfway disconnected it, and the first time I drove after that, everything went on the fritz. If not, calculate another $150 to find a short in the system, and I'm still under the $6000 mark for a car reliable enough to be a daily driver for a guy who lives, works, and goes to school within a 1 mile radius.
Thanks again everyone, and wish me luck...

This forum is a wealth of information. I bet you feel great about doing it yourself plus saving $ for other upgrades is a huge bonus. I bet if you had had a brake shop do it it would have run the cost of true duals. Awesome weather in MI today so get out and enjoy it!
