I have followed the "battery drain" recommendations in other forums, and have isolated it down to the alarm system. When I pull the Theft Deterrent System fuse, the ~200ma drain on the battery goes to zero. While I have the service manual and an electrical diagram, I'm stuck.
The car starts/runs ok so I don't think the system is activating, at least not locking out the ignition. I have checked the theft deterrent system fuse and the radio fuse. I suspect that all of the anti theft switches are working because the car starts.
Any ideas, suggestions, or help would be greatly appreciated!
Check for ground on the Green and Blue wires on the alarm unit. It is in the jack compartment behind the passenger seat. you can unplug the large black connector to access the pins. The blue wire is all of the alarm inputs, door switches and the like. The green wire is the Arm and Disarm signal, ground arms the unit. Ground on the blue wire sets the unit off if it is armed.
