Looks like I did it again. I was all ready to assemble my 1976 882 sbc heads just to find it looks like I screwed up again. I bought new valve locks they were adverised as sbc. I have" VALVE LOCKS 5/16" 10°"
What the heck do I need to buy? I am using stock valves. Thanks
Thanks. They do not fit anything like a 11/32 keeper that's why I posted this question. You mentioned being able to use a 10 degree on a 7 degree and vise versa but that does that include using a 5/16 keeper/lock on a 11/32 valve? That's what I almost did and didn't think it looked correct.

Sorry I corrected my statement you CANT interchange locks and retainers. You must use 7 with 7 and 10 with ten. You have to use a retainer made for the valve size. 8mm/, 5/16, 11/32/, 3/8"
