So, I'm walking home through my apartment complex, so tired I can barely see, 1:15 A.M. just off work. Walk by my neighbor's car port. Double take. There sits a red maybe 76? corvette stingray!!!.
Now, he watched me get mine three months ago. He's drooled over the car numerous times... I took him for a spin maybe a month ago... the whole time he's got a big smile on his face. He's been talking about some "settlement", about wanting one of his own, and what not. I thought he was full of it. No way. In his carport there is now a pretty little Stingray Gem.
That makes two now in our little apartment complex of four units. How cool is that? Needless to say I will definitely have to talk to him tomorrow, and this time he has my full respect.

Re: Corvette Fever contracted (Rottenrob)
One of our neighbors sent his son over one day while we were having a yard sale and asked if mine was for sale. I had to send him back home with a NO. Well not to long ago I saw that his dad is now sporting a nice 79 model. I`ll have to get over there and check out that new ride. Funny how things like that happen.
Ah but he got the strongest one of all: C3 fever! No known cure. I have many friends and neighbors showing mild signs of it. Can't be from me, could it? :blueangel:
Good job Rob!!! How is the '70 treating you? It sounds like life is good. Man, I can't wait to get home from Afgahnistan to enjoy my '96...by the way, I am missing my '70 each time I see your post with that picture of it. I am glad you live a long ways from me!!!
