Default 700r4 shifting issue

So I installed the tv made ez kit along with the spring that came with it. I set the TV cable like you're suppose to, not much play at full tv. I have a pressure gauge hooked up and the pressures are good, around 100 at idle in P, N, and OD. Reverse was around 150. Instant rise with a little movement. So after driving it, it seems to downshift fine, but it won't upshift until I let off the gas. I can run it up to almost 4K and its not even WOT. It feels like I have a manual because they are good shifts, its just not right. Any ideas on what it could be?

Since you've set it per the instructions try this:

Reset the cable to move the housing as far from the carb attachment point as possible.
Depress the throttle to the floor- HARD

That should reset the cable and give you a starting point. Then check your pressures again and see where it is.
When the cable is pulled tight, it pulls on the TV valve lever on the valve body, pushing the valve in. The ideal setting is the throttle runs out of travel at the same time the valve does. Usually doesn't happen quite that way.
