Default Side pipe paint

These are Ecklers glass covers, about 35 years old.
Up until the last year they both looked good, now the one has discolored. Not sure why.

The black coating is how they came, not too dull/glossy, just right.
Time to paint them, do they make spray can gel-coat?
May be paint them same color as the car.

How about some pics of C3s with side pipes painted same color as the car.

I'd think the same color as the car would give it that "too much" look.

I think your right, used a paint program to make the side pipes same as the car. The car is blue now and like you said its too much.

Will stick with the black.

Depends on what look you want. I went with all black sinister look and painted my covers with black satin epoxy primer.

That does look good, with the two tone on the covers, great idea.
Could i get a picture from the side of the car to get a better look?

Thank you for the pics, I like it. May try this as i am getting some painting done this week so i will prep the covers also.

Thanks again for the pics, is that candy red? Looks nice.

I will try using a paint program to see how the covers would look in electric blue with black/silver lines before painting.
