c3 fuel cell
My fuel tank needs to be replaced and i am running a 6.0l lsx.... Does anyone have any experience with a fuel cell that has worked out great for them.... Wanted at least 16 gallons and for the gas cap flap to line up with the cell.... Dont wanna spend alot.... Any insight would be great.....

a 1980 vette has a plastic fuel cell inside a steal case.I removed the steal case and put a big *90 fitting in the front of the plastic cell with the fitting a 1/2 in off the bottom..I put foam in it ,but left the middle open for a sending unit.I can't get on it with less then a 1/3 of a tank of gas.

what pump are you running now?in tank or frame mount.i used to run a walbro 255 intank but have switched to a walbro frame mount now.Im still running stock tank and if i run it low itll starve.Looking for another alternative also but cant spend the money on a rock valley tank.

seller says 8 inches from front of tank to the center of the fill opening.... anyone know the stock distance on the factory tank?... i threw mine out as it was full of holes... tank is 17 inches wide and filler looks to be almost center of tank... might be enough room to adjust the tank postion so opening works?..
