You picked a good year and my favorite color!
The fuel line I would do soon. The body mounts you can live with for a while.
I would NOT want to lay up my new Vette for and long amount of time.
Drive it for a few months and see what else needs fixin' (as they say down here).
Enjoy!
Totally agree on wanting to drive it - my plans include never taking it down from drivability longer than any business trip I might go on. So, until then - I don't mind having the shop replace the shocks, body mounts and bushings tomorrow/Wednesday - I do have 3 other vehicles I like to drive on occasion too :-)
But at some point, I'm gonna have to get all the suspension things sorted out and that might take several days. But I refuse to have it down for weeks/months at a time - I'm afraid it might become one of "those" projects. You know - the one that ends up sitting for years instead of the planned weeks. No way, baby! Hot looking cars are meant to be seen!
here's another pic of the fuel lines for you.. (just installed these tonight!)
this is my '73 convertible that I just started restoring.
Dang - you're a much braver man than I! Looks like that car will turn out fantastic, and I'd love to know every single thing that I'm driving on. BUt I don't have the luxury of doing that much to it.
Lucky!
And thanks for the pics of the fuel line. Will have to consider what to do when the new tank arrives - I may just get all new lines and replace 'em all, since the tank will be new anyway.
