Default wheel studs.

i just put on some 17's on my 79 and i have 2.5 adapters. when i mounted them on the stock wheel studs look short. what size would be good? i found some on the summit site but i want to make sure i get the right size.

I have had rear 2.5 with my 12X17 inch wheels for many years. The stock studs work they are covered just use good quality full thread nuts. I later changed to bigger diameter for safety and rules.

I'm running 2.5" adapters on all 4 corners and did not have to change my wheel studs either.

You can't put too long of studs or they will hit the back of the rims.

ok it just looks like the lug nut is not half way. kinda freaks me out.

Please post a picture. My adapter from so long ago were from MidAmerica. maybe the machined holes are not deep enough. the studs should come out to near the 2.5 inch

This a picture of my street 335/35/17 Kumhos compared to my 12X28 road racing GoodYear slicks with 2.5 adapters years ago
