Ok, go try that out on a qjet small block with a stock intake (you know the 99% case) and see how that works out for you.
They might as well take off their rims and install them inside out also it will work so it must be OK.

ouch, ouch. is this anyway to start the weekend? lol, "quadrajunk....quadrajunk?" thems there fightin' words! haha, I thought the general consensus is they are very good carbs, just have to learn them??

This could have been done for a few reasons - vacuum line needed to run down the drivers side or carb - aftermarket ignition system parts mounted inside the car (ease of wire routing), didn't like the looks of the vacuum advance and "hid it" towards the back... Who knows. It works, they like it - works for me
