Corvette system capacities are:
3 lbs 4 oz R12
11 oz 525 Viscosity compressor oil
BUT;
If you didn't replace/remove and drain the compressor oil you likely have no idea how much oil is still in the system.

You'll need 10oz of oil if the system is empty. I would ask over here. There's tons of posts on converting. http://www.autoacforum.com
If you're converting from R12 to R134, you might want to think about adjusting your POA valve. These guys can do it or sell you a rebuilt one that's calibrated correctly for R134.
