Re: DELCO REPLACEMENT HEATER BLOWER MOTOR PART # ? (gtr1999)
i called my local chevy dealer today and he had one in stock...$69.
he also had the coolant overflow tank in stock for $18.97...
(mines very dirty and ugly)
i live in a VERY small town, the nearest town to me is 40 miles away!
so i was VERY suprised that they had them both in stock!
so...i will probably get them tomorrow or the next day and install them...
i guess i will know then if its the motor or not...
Re: DELCO REPLACEMENT HEATER BLOWER MOTOR PART # ? (69er)
I bought a delco replacement.. There are two available... With or without the squirrel cage. The latter is for later years and I wasn't sure it would fit because the squirrel cage was a little longer, so I opted for the motor only which works better than the original. From what I understand, the newer fan is better yet. If it will fit??? anyone know?
Re: DELCO REPLACEMENT HEATER BLOWER MOTOR PART # ? (SIGNGUY)
OK lets take a step back with a question. Is this part # for the motor only or motor blower wheel assembly? Is the replacement motor the same RPM with just a better blower?
Thanks,
Gary
