Default Transmission
Getting ready to drop the auto transmission (400 turbo). Any hints, warnings, shortcuts? I need to put in a new flex plate/starter ring gear.

Unless you already have these things, install a shift kit and a higher stall converter while you have it out, or you'll always wish you had. My $.02. New front seal is a good idea too.
