BB Oil Pressure delay
Hi all.
I have noticed the last few times I started my BB that the oil pressure doesn't register anything for the first 5 seconds or so, then jumps right up to the top of the gauge. Any thoughts? I don't remember a delay in the past.

Did you change the oil lately?
Oil filters have a check valve in them to prevent drain back.
chevy had an issue with this a while back and would recommend changing the filter.
Just throwing ideas out there,

If I so much as slightly turn the motor over by hand or remote starter with the oil line disc it shoots out a geyser..
now by wathcing the gauge it seems to take a bit to go up
So...ignore the gauge youre good.
As said for some reason fresh oil seems to make it shoot up faster dont know why. At least on my DD it does, must be a diff in gauges.
