I replaced the rusting bolts for my headers with stainless steel and someone mentioned a possible corrosion issue. I reviewed several postings in other places that spoke about a scale, with things closer to each other on the scale not corroding as much. Obviously, these bolts are going into the block. Cast Iron and SS were next to each other on the scale so I thought they might be ok, but dont want to risk a corroded hole in the block.
Also, does anyone know if anti-seize will work on header bolts or does it get too hot?

i put anti sieze on mine....more importantly make sure the length is correct so they dont bottom out and cause leaks....i had to shorten one of mine so it didnt bottom out
I was more concerned about corrosion of the block than the bolts. Just not a good way to see if you are having a reaction in the hole. I saw on another thread that SS bolts in the aluminum intake were somewhat more common.

Electrolysis ? Hm, don't know about SS/Alu. I did notice some of the previously installed zinc plated bolts corroded.
