Ravin Mufflers from Midas
I just had to run to Midas to fix a flat tire in my truck, but while I was there I was talking to the manager about cars and he told me he had the Ravin mufflers on his chevy 350, so I asked him to start it up. it was a mild 350 with ~350HP, headers, no cats. It sounded way :cool: IMO. Similiar to my chambered b/c it was fairly loud and had a similiar sound. Not too sure about performce though...didnt ask or hear anything about them. but they sure sounded good! :cool:
ohhh and when i got home and mounted the tire back on, i noticed another nail in a different tire :mad

I looked into these last year. Ravins have a really clever interior design with two wavy/corrugated shaped plates which sandwich the gases as they pass thru. Excellent flow numbers.
But Midas thinks they are made of gold. Something like $159 each. They won't sell many in that price range.

@ 159 thats just rediculous. The guy told me ~100 for one with 2 1/2" in and out. but just thought id let eveyone know they sounded good....but at 159 id walk away too :lol:

I'd like to put them on my '82 but if they're going to cost that much, forget it! Last time I called they were $90, and that was a year ago. Maybe check their website for a dealer (non-Midas) and see if you can get a better deal?

yes i liked these mufflers too when they told me the price i thought that was for two ,so i asked how much to install $300 bucks total .they are real proud of those. p.s. no i did not buy either
