Default Head light door movement

was out driving the other night and was sitting @ a light behind another vehicle when i noticed by the reflection of my headlights against the rear of the car in front of me that my passenger side headlight was wobbling. Also noticed lately that the passenger head light door has been opening and closing slower than the drivers side. Next day pulled over ride and opened both headlights and when you push on the passenger door it would move up and down 1/4" where the drivers side did not move @ all with the same pressure applied. climbed underneath and while pushing on the passenger headlight door you can see the threaded bar move in and out of the head lamp actuator 1/4'' but the drivers side was solid with same amount of pressure. I''m guessing the head lamp actuator diaphram might be bad but not sure. First vette, not much experience so any help would be great.

When adjusted correctly the knee action of the joint locks up solid. It should not move enough to drive the shaft to the diaphragm in and out. If its doing that, its probably not adjusted correctly. Then there is a bracket and stop that is bolted to the HL door on the end that has a bumper to keep it from vibrating. That needs to be adjusted to bump the outer housing.
