Some rub, some don't. I use the thick gaskets with stock valve covers. The rockers are 1.5 Crane Gold.
I have run Crane roller rockers on my '73 since the early 90's with the aluminum L-82 covers and have had no clearance issues. I did switch to the thickFelPros a while back when I replaced the gaskets after the car sat for three years just to add a little extra clearance.
However, there was a thread on here a few years back about someone having the rockers hit the stock tin covers on his engine. It turns out that he had flipped the covers before installing them (rotated 180 degrees). The factory tin covers are not symmetrical....
The later 350 covers with no writing on then can in fact be installed upside down if one isn't paying attention.
If your valve covers have the dripper metal thingy welded to the underside, sometime you can just hit them with a hammer to move them down a bit. Not sure if that is where your's are rubbing.
Thanks for input guys I have morso tall covers felpro gaskets the rubber ones. some of the rocker arms rub a little on the carb sibe of valve covers not sure what spacers these rocker arms are harland sherp I believe

I bought the tall Proform cast aluminum vv covers and most of the rockers were contacting the vv cover like yours. I took a dremel tool and just ground off a bit of the vv cover where they were making contact.
