I bought my 75 corvette with it's l82 engine 5 days ago and I'm planing to put a side exhaust on this beauty .
I asked about the prices in a corvette service company they told me it will be around $2500 ....... I think that's expensive for an exhaust . so I thought I'll buy it myself and then will search for someone to mount it for me.
And suggestions ??
I need a good quality with a nice sound exhaust.
Hooker and OBX are the two major manufacturers. OBX are stainless, which is great for no-finish; however, putting a coating on stainless can be expensive and sometimes won't last ... that said, raw stainless looks good too
Alaska is right for the price range.
A consideration, if you need to put an O2 sensor in the exhaust, hookers are a bit more problematic because the collector is at the side of the car.... it works, but it's kind of a pain.
