The passenger mirror is connected to one side of the switch and the driver mirror is connected to the other. Note that only four connections are made on each mirror. Bob,
Great diagram. You beat me to it on this. I figured out my wiring and made a diagram but was going to clean it up before I posted it. Comparing yours to mine it is a little different. You are using the same GM mirror switch right?

Yes, I'm using the '93 Cadillac DeVille switch. I also checked it out with the '94 Cadillac switch and both worked with the connections in my diagram.

I got frustrated with the wiring diagrams and color codes several times because all four wires on my two mirror connectors are white and all eight wires on my switch my connector are gray. I ended up with my solution after about five tries. I found several combinations of connections that worked but the operation would be a little odd. I'm going to check my setup again.

Bob I think that your diagram makes much more sense. I'm going to change my wiring harness to match your diagram. All the connectors I'm using I got out of the local Pick A Part. They are very plentiful here and only cost pennies.

No regrets. They look like they are supposed to be there.

Default c4 mirrors

I went with c4 mirrors because I wanted a sleeker look and they were free. The drivers side is power but on the passenger side I just cut off the wires.... I didn't want the hassle of running more wires from passenger side. The final product looks so much better than the pictures. I was going to go with the c5 mirrors, but most vendors at the swap meets were asking $150 or better per mirror. When I bought this car it came with boxes of parts and I was reassured that everything was there to put the car back together. Guess what, no mirrors and a list of other things that were missing.

I guess I will be the bad guy, but those mirrors look bad enough on modern Vettes, let alone ruining the look of a C3 with one of them. Sure, C3 mirrors are not the greatest in rear view capability, but I could care less. If I was really worried about safety when driving, I certainly would not own a 1977 Corvette or any other 1977 car. No air bags, the top of the windshield frame will certainly take the top of my head off in a crash, even with belts tight. No side protection...fiberglass body, on and on an on.

The factory sport mirrors on my 77 look correct for our cars, and so do the early ones. Those profilactic golf club mirrors on new Vettes look totally wrong on them.....in my opinion.....but, I guess if you all think they look good, its your car. No different than putting a luggage rack on a sports car, etc. Maybe next you can put some old fashioned wood paneling down the side.

I am just a traditional Vette lover, I bought a 77 cause that is what I like. I wanted an old car. With the money I spent on this car, I could have had a C7, but don't want one. Anyways....

I have to agree to a point.I think some get excited to make an improvement or change it clouds perspective. I don't think the c5 mirrors look that bad but the mirrors on mine were designed for it and I'm not as concerned with what's behind me.the c4 mirror seems a little square for the c3, but it may be fine once I see it on the car in person.but to each their own. And the guys in central florida like me, and enough of my neighbors don't like me as is.

Yes about 2 and 4 inch with the mods.
The wheel tire assemble was not centered in the flare so I centered them and moved them forward about an inch, also made the edge lip different. I started out and bought both front and rear flares and chopped up one rear flare so bad I decided to make my own.

I had a bit of a window today between Rainstorms. A Black car is hard to get a detailed picture with out reflections. At least it gave me time to run the Car for 20 minutes and warm up.
If you want your pictures to show up in the tread take those links above and put the img tag in the front and back of the link.
